The purpose of the Anti-Doping Policy and the anti-doping programs that it supports are:
- to protect athletes fundamental right to participate in doping-free sport and thus promote health, fairness and equality for athletes worldwide
- to ensure harmonised, coordinated and effective anti-doping programs at the international and national level with regard to detection, deterrence and prevention of doping
All tournaments that Canada Inline participates in, follow the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) policies. Their policies and a list of the prohibited substances can be found on the WADA website.
If you are on a medication, supplements or vitamins please check to see if they are banned or not by using the Global DRO website. Just enter the following information,
User Type: Athlete
Sport: Roller sports

Search For: type in the medication
- You can also use this site to check out any medications, supplements or vitamins you are on
- Once you input the medications, it will give you a list of the different formulations and trade names. Pick that one that is on the label. From there it will let you know if it is compliant or not.
- If it comes up as conditional or Prohibited, you will need to contact us so that our Association Doctor can determine a different medication or plan of action.
- It is imperative that all players go to this site and check any and all medications, supplements and vitamins.
- It is also imperative that any supplements or protein powders usage be ceased.
- Their are still multiple reports of tainted supplements on the market, so our Association Doctor recommends that all supplementing be stopped.
- Any players that use Asthma medication need to contact us prior to events to discuss setting up a TUE for that player and register it with WADA.
